Biography
Paradise Blue is an upstate
band which has been a staple of festivals and clubs in the Southeast
for 14 years. The band plays a unique blend of rock and blues
and has been compared to Kenny Wayne Sheppard, The Fabulous Thunderbirds
and ZZ Top. The band has just released their 8th CD entitled
"Rev it Up" which is their fastest selling CD to date.
The band has been featured on Rock 101 and has generated substantial
radio airplay in Europe and Australia and other countries. In
addition to their well received original songs the band plays
a wide variety of cover tunes by Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Lenny
Kravitz, REM, Drivin' N Cryin', The Smithereens and The Cars
just to name a few. Paradise Blue is comprised of 3 veteran upstate
musicians- Doug Mullinax on Guitar and vocals, Charles Moses
on bass guitar and backing vocals and Kris Roxx on drums. Doug
and Kris have played together in the past with Fools Like You,
Vision and have opened for The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Warrant,
Joan Jett, 38 Special and Toy Caldwell to name a few. Bassist
Charles Moses has recorded with Arron Tippin and was a finalist
for the South Carolina songwriter of the year. He played with
The Upsetters, The Power tools, Silk N' Steel, Sky Dancer and
The Oath. Our original drummer Kris Roxx is back in the saddle
with Paradise Blue. Kris brings dynamic new energy to the sound
of Paradise Blue. Paradise Blue is a professional act that plays
great shows at whatever venue they play. Paradise Blue enjoys
